You can download or print your Udyam Registration Certificate for free through the official Udyam Registration Portal.
Before you start, keep these details ready:
Udyam Registration Number: Your number in the format UDYAM-XX-00-0000000.
Registered mobile number: The mobile number recorded in your Udyam application.
OTP access: Access to the registered mobile number or email address selected for OTP verification.
Follow these steps to download or print your certificate:
Open the certificate download option: Visit the official portal, select Print/Verify, then choose Print Udyam Certificate. This opens the Udyami Login page.
Add your login details: Type your Udyam Registration Number and the mobile number from your application.
Type the verification code: Enter the code shown on the login page exactly as displayed.
Choose an OTP option: Select OTP on Mobile as filled in the application or OTP on Email as filled in the application.
Generate the OTP: Click Validate & Generate OTP, then enter the OTP you receive.
Log in to access your certificate: Click Validate OTP & Login. After successful verification, follow the on-screen instructions to access your certificate.
Print or save your certificate: When the certificate opens, select the print option shown on the page. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF for a digital copy, or select a printer for a paper copy.

Udyam Certificate Download by Mobile Number
No, you can not download your Udyam Registration Certificate using only your mobile number. The login asks for your Udyam Registration Number together with the mobile number recorded in your application.
You also enter the verification code shown on the page, then verify an OTP sent to your registered mobile or email. Your mobile number receives the OTP, but it does not replace your registration number.
Forgot your registration number? Follow the number recovery steps, then return to the certificate download steps. Your mobile number helps verify your identity, but it does not replace your Udyam Registration Number.
How to Recover a Lost Udyam Registration Number
In case you have forgotten your Udyam Registration Number, you can recover it on the official Forgot Udyam Registration Number page. Verify with an OTP on the mobile number or email recorded in your application.
Follow these steps:
Open the recovery page: Visit the official Forgot UAM/Udyam Registration Number page.
Select your registration type: Choose Udyam Registration. If you have an older Udyog Aadhaar registration, select Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum instead.
Choose an OTP option: Select Mobile or Email, according to the contact details recorded in your application.
Enter your contact details: Enter the selected mobile number or email address and click Validate & Generate OTP.
Verify the OTP: Enter the OTP and click Validate OTP. After successful verification, the portal displays the registered number or numbers.
If you cannot recover your number or no longer have access to your registered contact details, contact the Ministry of MSME’s CHAMPIONS support team at champions@gov.in or +91 8308809334. The official portal lists support hours as Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Recover your registration number first, then return to the certificate download process. For example, if you have your registered email but have forgotten your Udyam number, use the recovery page’s email OTP option before attempting to log in.
How to Fix Common Udyam Certificate Download Problems
If you are having issues downloading the Udyam certificate, check your registration details, OTP settings, and browser before trying again. Refer to the following table to identify common issues and the right actions for them.

For example, if the portal does not accept your Udyam Registration Number, check that it follows the format UDYAM-XX-00-0000000, including the hyphens. Then confirm that you selected the correct registration type.

How to Download an Old Udyog Aadhaar Certificate
Use the official Udyog Aadhaar print page to print or reprint an old certificate. Enter your 12-character Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) number, such as DL05A0000001, and the mobile number recorded on the certificate.
UAM is a legacy MSME registration record, separate from the current Udyam Registration Certificate.
Follow these steps for a Udyog Aadhaar certificate download:
Open the official Udyog Aadhaar print page.
Enter your 12-digit UAM number.
Enter the mobile number recorded on your Udyog Aadhaar certificate.
Follow the instructions displayed on the page to print your certificate.
If you need current MSME registration, visit the official Udyam Registration Portal and select UAM Migration to Udyam. Printing an old UAM record does not update it to a Udyam Registration Certificate. Check whether the old record meets the requirements of the organisation requesting proof of registration.
Let’s say a buyer asks for your current Udyam registration proof, but you only have an older UAM certificate. Print the old certificate for reference, then complete the UAM migration process on the official portal to get your updated Udyam registration.
Use the official print page for a copy of an old UAM certificate. For current Udyam registration, select UAM Migration to Udyam on the official portal.
How to Verify or Update a Udyam Certificate
You can verify a Udyam certificate online, update your registration details through the official portal, and keep your information current without routine renewal.
Verify Udyam certificate: Open the official verification page and use Verify Udyam Registration Detail to check the registration details. You can also scan the certificate’s dynamic QR code to access the enterprise details on the official portal.
Udyam certificate update: For an MSME certificate update, use the portal’s Update/Cancel Udyam Registration facility, log in as instructed, and follow the steps to update your registration details.
Renewal: Udyam Registration does not require routine renewal. However, update your details when they change to keep your registration information accurate.
For example, a buyer asks you to prove your registration. Share your Udyam certificate so the buyer can scan its dynamic QR code and view your enterprise details on the official portal.

When receiving payments from foreign clients, organise your invoices, payment references, and remittance documents. A Udyam certificate does not replace applicable tax, GST, or export compliance requirements.

What to save for each payment:
Invoices: Keep copies of invoices sent to foreign clients.
Payment records: Save payment references alongside the corresponding invoice.

1. Is Udyam certificate download free?
Yes. You can download your Udyam Registration Certificate for free through the official Udyam Registration Portal. You do not need to pay a third-party website to download your certificate.
2. Can I download my Udyam certificate using Aadhaar?
No, Aadhaar alone is not enough to download an existing certificate. The portal's download process requires your Udyam Registration Number, the mobile number recorded in your application, and OTP verification through your registered mobile or email. If you have forgotten your number, use the official Udyam Registration Number recovery page or follow the steps in our Udyam Registration Number recovery section.
3. Can I download my Udyam certificate without my registered mobile number?
Yes, if you can access your registered email and receive the OTP there. You must still enter the mobile number recorded in your application on the login page. If you cannot access either registered contact method, refer to the support options in our Udyam Registration Number recovery section.
4. Do I need to renew my Udyam certificate?
No. Udyam registration does not require routine renewal. Update your registration details on the portal when your business information changes.
5. Can I download or verify another business's Udyam certificate?
You can verify another business’s registration through the official verification facility or its certificate’s dynamic QR code. But you cannot download its complete certificate through the standard login process without the business’s registration details and OTP verification.
6. How much time does it take to download a Udyam certificate?
If your Udyam Registration is complete and your certificate is available, downloading or printing it usually takes a few minutes, depending on OTP delivery and portal response time. If you have just applied for registration, the certificate may take longer to become available.
