How to estimate your INR settlement

Use the rate and fee for the actual payment method when estimating the amount that will reach your Indian account.

Use the rate and fee for the actual payment method when estimating the amount that will reach your Indian account.

For a simple bank-payment illustration, suppose USD 1,000 is converted at INR 85 per USD and the fee is 0.5% of the USD amount. The fee would be USD 5, leaving USD 995; at the illustrative rate, that equals INR 84,575.

This example assumes the fee is deducted in foreign currency before conversion and that no other deductions apply. It is not a live quote or a statement about tax treatment. The final transaction screen is the place to verify the actual calculation.

For a card payment, use the card schedule and any applicable minimum instead of the bank-transfer percentage. If fees are passed to the payer, confirm the resulting payer total and your net amount separately.

If the settlement differs, compare each component rather than comparing only exchange rates.
