How to match an invoice to an incoming payment
Matching the correct invoice to a remittance helps keep the payment’s business purpose and accounting records consistent.

Open the incoming payment or withdrawal flow and review the available invoice selection. Choose the invoice for the actual client, currency, and amount being paid. If you need to create or upload the invoice first, complete that step before continuing.
The limit-order form explicitly asks you to Select Remittance and Select Invoice. Check both selections carefully: setting a target rate against the wrong invoice can create an incorrect record even if the currency is right.
Do not select an unrelated invoice simply to complete a required field. If a payment covers several invoices, only part of an invoice, or includes a fee deduction, ask support how to record that allocation correctly.
Keep the payer’s reference and any explanation of the amount difference with your records. A mismatch should be resolved before you treat the invoice as fully paid.
