How to set a limit order in three steps
A limit order lets you specify a target exchange rate for selected funds.
A limit order lets you specify a target exchange rate for selected funds. The order links a remittance and an invoice to an automatic withdrawal when the desired rate is reached.
Step 1: Enter the rate and select the payment
Open Limit Order and choose Set Limit Order. Enter the desired INR rate for the selected currency. Check the displayed market rate and its update time. Use Select Remittance and Select Invoice to choose the correct records, then select Set Limit Order.
Step 2: Check the active order
Open Current Limit Orders. Confirm the amount, target rate, linked invoice, and expiry. Limit orders remain active for 30 days, as indicated in the order window. Review the expiry shown for your actual order.
Step 3: Follow execution and settlement
When the target condition is met, the order triggers automatic withdrawal and a Limit Order Reached email. Check Transactions for the actual transfer progress and final settlement.
A target rate may never be reached before expiry. An active order is not evidence that a conversion has happened. Review the order before making a separate withdrawal against the same funds, and contact support if execution or cancellation status is unclear.
