How to set up client auto withdrawal
Auto-withdrawal is configured from a client’s details where the feature is available.
Auto-withdrawal is configured from a client’s details where the feature is available. It helps automate the handling of eligible incoming payments from that client.
Open Clients and select the correct client record.
Find Auto-withdrawal in the Client details panel.
Enter a clear Service description that reflects the actual work.
Select the appropriate Purpose code.
Select Save and enable.
Reopen the client record and check that the setting is enabled.
For Upwork, the service description appears on invoices for each payment, as explained in the setup form. Confirm that you are configuring the correct supported client or platform, especially if you have more than one similar client record.
Before enabling the rule, check your settlement bank and the details used for invoicing. Auto-withdrawal is not the same as a target-rate order.
If a payment does not withdraw automatically, check whether it matches the configured client and whether any information is missing. Contact support rather than creating a duplicate withdrawal without checking its status.
