Understand the journey from invoice to INR settlement

An invoice requests payment. A payment receipt records a payment event.

An invoice requests payment. A payment receipt records a payment event. INR settlement is the movement of the eligible funds into your registered Indian bank account. These are separate stages.

First, create or upload the invoice and share the payment instructions. Your client then initiates a bank transfer or pays through a QuickLink. After the payment reaches the supported receiving route, any required matching and checks must be completed before the funds are settled.

In Transactions, open the payment to follow its timeline. The timeline shows stages such as transfer initiated from the global account, transfer initiated to the INR account, transfer complete, and FIRA generated.

If a stage is taking longer than expected, check for requested information and contact support using the transaction details. Avoid creating a second invoice or asking the client to pay again until you know the status of the first payment.
