Your checklist before receiving the first payment

A few checks before your first payment can prevent avoidable delays.

A few checks before your first payment can prevent avoidable delays.

  1. Complete account verification and respond to outstanding document requests.

  2. Confirm your Indian bank details and the name of the account holder.

  3. Add the overseas client with their correct legal name, email, and address.

  4. Create or upload an invoice that reflects the actual goods or services supplied.

  5. Select the correct payment currency and purpose code.

  6. Share the receiving details for the exact payment route, or send the generated QuickLink.

  7. Ask the client to use the invoice number or other reference specified in the payment instructions.

Once the client pays, follow the payment in Infinity. A client’s transfer receipt confirms that they initiated a payment; it does not by itself confirm receipt or INR settlement.

Keep the invoice, payment reference, and related business records together. When settlement completes, download the available receipt and FIRA from the transaction.
