What to do when a payment is delayed or the amount differs

First identify where the difference or delay occurred.

First identify where the difference or delay occurred. The client’s invoice amount, the amount sent, the amount received, and the net INR settlement may not all be the same figure.

  1. Ask the payer to confirm the amount, currency, sending date, route, and transfer reference.

  2. Open the Infinity transaction and review its latest stage.

  3. Check for pending invoice, client, or account information requests.

  4. Compare the transaction’s conversion and fee details with the net amount received.

  5. Contact support if the timeline or deduction remains unclear.

A sending platform, bank, or intermediary may have applied a separate charge. Exchange-rate movement can also change the INR equivalent of a foreign-currency amount.

Do not ask the client to resend a payment until the original has been traced. If the client used the wrong currency or account details, notify support promptly and ask the sender to contact their bank about correction or recall options.
