What FIRA is and when you need it
FIRA stands for Foreign Inward Remittance Advice.
FIRA stands for Foreign Inward Remittance Advice. It records details of an inward foreign remittance and helps you keep evidence of an international payment for accounting and documentation purposes.
It is different from your invoice. The invoice describes what you supplied and requested payment for; the FIRA records the remittance information associated with the completed process.
Infinity’s global-payments page says a free bank-issued FIRA is provided with each withdrawal. In the dashboard, the transaction timeline can show FIRA generated and a FIRA Document attachment.
Save the document with the related invoice, receipt, and bank credit. Check the beneficiary, amount, currency, and other relevant details before giving it to your accountant or a requesting organization.
FIRA is not a blanket confirmation that every tax or export-reporting obligation is complete. If someone requests a different certificate or filing, confirm exactly what they need.
